Julian André Bradley gave so much to the local medical community, and so many of us are deeply indebted to him for the support and guidance he gave to us throughout a 40 year career as a GP and 30 years as a programme director for GP training.

Julian’s early years were spent in Blyth, Northumberland, and later in Morpeth, where he attended King Edward VI Grammar School. He completed junior hospital posts at Westminster Hospital, London, and Croydon General Hospital. He moved on to the West Middlesex Hospital, Isleworth, in 1976, where he was medical registrar.
