Dear Editor

“Burnout and moral injury did not begin with the pandemic and will not end with it.”

I am in total agreement with this quote from Jacky Davis, consultant radiologist in London as cited in the above article.

Surely, it is now the time for healthcare professionals, academics and policy makers to work together to implement interventions to optimise wellbeing and reduce burnout.
