It is clear that additional antiviral treatments will always be needed to supplement vaccine strategies, for prophylaxis as well as treatment. Who, in government ranks in the UK, the USA and Australia is responsible for seeing that this potential is optimally explored and applied, along with standard measures and vaccines? People over 50 in Australia are being asked to accept the small risk of the often-fatal clotting disorder with the AZ vaccine, but do not know that ivermectin might be a promising additive therapy, with little cost or logistic difficulty and small personal risk. Let's investigate this further to be ready for subsequent waves and ongoing mutations.

The
'Tika Utsav' is a four-day COVID-19 vaccination exercise, started on April 11, which was the birth anniversary of social activist Jyotiba Phule and ends on April 14, which marks the birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar was aimed at inoculating as many people as possible against the Covid-19 disease in India.
In this Indian vaccination drive from April 11-14 saw intense vaccination activity with 29,33,418 doses being given on April 11, and another 40,04,521 jabs administered the next day. The corresponding figure for 13th and 14th April stands at 26,46,528 and 33,13,848.
The total vaccination figures during the ‘Tika Utsav’ in India saw a jump of 1,28,98,314 vaccine doses being administered to people of eligible groups across the country.
India becomes the fastest country to administer 100 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine.
As in 16.04.2021 India has given 117,223,509 doses of vaccine against COVID-19.
In my own district of Tiruchirappalli
as of 14.04.2021 about , 1,50,534 persons were vaccinated against COVID-19.
