Dear Editor

I am sure I am not the only person who is asking why the Moderna vaccine which I understand is similar to the Pfizer vaccine has only been approved as 2 doses 28 days apart whereas the Pfizer vaccine has been approved as being effective after the first dose with a 12 week interval between doses, for which Pfizer have stated there is no current evidence.
