A consultant surgeon faces accusations by the General Medical Council (GMC) of administering inappropriate cancer treatments for financial gain, at a tribunal hearing scheduled to last until June.
Paul Miller, 62, was dismissed as a consultant by Sussex and Surrey Healthcare NHS Trust in 2014 after an investigation by the Royal College of Surgeons found that 27 patients had been harmed in his care.
A 2019 inquest into the deaths of 10 of his patients heard that he had been the subject of complaints from colleagues as long ago as 2008 …
