Prakash S Sinha was a general surgeon with a specialist interest in endocrine, breast, and oncoplastic surgery, and the medical director of the Princess Royal University Hospital, part of the King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Prakash was born in India, in Dhanbad, Bihar, as the youngest of three siblings, but his family relocated to Mumbai soon thereafter. He was head boy at his school and went on to read medicine at Grant Medical College, Mumbai, qualifying in 1985. He completed his masters in general surgery in 1988, training at the Sir Jamsetjee Jeejeebhoy (JJ) Group of Hospitals.
