We, the executive committee of GLADD (the Association of LGBTQ+ Doctors and Dentists), have profound concerns about the High Court’s judgment that children under 16 are unlikely to be competent to consent to the administration of puberty blockers.1 As a community of LGBTQ+ clinicians, we have personal and professional apprehension for the young trans people of this country.
