This year everyone has had to adjust to changes in every aspect of their lives. Medical students have not been immune. "Since the start of the pandemic, medical students have been hard hit by the knock-on effects of covid-19 disruption,” commented a member of the BMA medical student committee—for example, problems booking exams for final year UK medical students,1 decreased funding for UK medical schools,2 or student areas themselves being virus hotspots.3
