Academic GP who tried to hide his outside work has suspension extended to 12 months

A professor of general practice who was suspended from the UK medical register last year for trying to hide the extent of his outside work from his employers has had his suspension extended from six months to 12 after the General Medical Council (GMC) appealed to the High Court against a ruling it considered too lenient.
