Disabled doctors are not getting the workplace adjustments they need, research finds

Disabled doctors and medical students are too afraid to discuss their disability at work for fear of prejudice, and only half have the workplace adjustments that they need, research by the BMA has found.

An online survey of disabled doctors and medical students, conducted by the BMA from November 2019 to January 2020, received 705 responses from around the UK.1
