We agree with the editor’s comments around racism.1 But when discussing matters relating to migration, ethnicity, and race, although each subject contains unique issues, the three are intrinsically linked. The overlap between racism and migration is particularly pertinent when discussing colonialism.

The NHS’s complicity in the “hostile environment” is just one example of how the UK continues to benefit from its colonial past. Looking at the list …
