A doctor who throttled and slapped his wife and exerted coercive control over her has been struck off the UK medical register after the General Medical Council (GMC) successfully appealed against an earlier suspension.
Muhammad Saqib Saeed was suspended from the register for 12 months by a medical practitioners tribunal in 2019 after he was given a 22 month prison sentence suspended for two years. …
