More countries report on antibiotic resistance but results are “worrying,” says WHO

In a positive step in the fight against antibiotic resistance the number of countries tracking the issue has tripled since 2018, but they are finding that bacterial infections are becoming increasingly resistant to the medicines available to treat them, the World Health Organization has warned.
