Brilliant, lively, and unassuming, Victoria Adetola Adewole (“Vicky”) began her medical career as a student at Imperial College London, having received a student opportunities scholarship. She graduated with a distinction and received the Royal Society of Medicine pathology section prize during her intercalated BSc in infection and immunity. Her early clinical exposure instigated her desire to pursue a career in surgery.
