The High Court has given the go-ahead for a legal challenge to the provision of hormone blocking drugs by the only NHS service for children seeking gender reassignment.
The application for judicial review, which is expected to be heard before the end of July, has been brought against the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, which runs the Gender Identity Development Service at the Tavistock Clinic in London.1
