Philip Turner (“Phil”) worked as a surgical houseman at Ashford Hospital in Kent, and his medical house job was at the Medway Hospital in Gillingham, Kent. He was a senior house officer at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge from July 1975 to June 1976, working in accident and emergency medicine, orthopaedics, and neurosurgery.
