The health and future of every child worldwide is under threat from climate change, ecological degradation, migrating populations, conflict, pervasive inequalities, and predatory commercial practices, a landmark report from over 40 child and adolescent health experts has warned.1
The report, published in The Lancet Commissions, highlighted exploitative marketing practices that push heavily processed fast food, sugary drinks, alcohol, and tobacco at children as a distinct threat.
