BMJ Awards: finalists announced for 12th annual event

The race to recognise the most innovative and inspirational teams working in UK healthcare is almost over, with this week’s announcement of the 85 teams shortlisted for the 12th BMJ Awards.

This year’s awards attracted 281 submissions across 14 categories, which for the first time include environmental sustainability and climate action, women’s health, and work and wellbeing. There will also be two special recognition awards for outstanding contribution to health and for the UK research paper of the year.
