In this article by Anna Richmond (BMJ 2019;365:k663, doi:10.1136/bmj.k663), two errors occurred in figure 1, which have now been corrected. The boxes showing examples of causes of provoked seizures and examples of seizures due to acute illness should have been reversed. The note “NB: Any seizure type can be in status." should not have been linked to the box on generalised or idiopathic epilepsy.
