Targeted measles and rubella vaccination campaign aims to stop global surge in cases

A new vaccination campaign will aim to vaccinate 45 million children in seven developing countries over the next six months, in an attempt to halt a recent surge in global measles cases.
Governments will carry out the campaign with funding from Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, and support from the Measles & Rubella Initiative’s partners, including the World Health Organization and Unicef.
