No. “London throat” actually refers to a health condition.
Does it only affect Londoners?
Not exactly, but those living in the capital are at particular risk. The condition is most likely to affect people living in built up metropolitan areas, so while they may not like it, even Northerners could get it if they live in places like Manchester.
