Paediatricians and other health professionals should talk to patients and families about how they can reduce exposure and contribution to air pollution, the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) has said.
The college has published new information to help paediatricians have these discussions. It recommends that children, young people, and families take actions such as walking or cycling short journeys instead of taking the car, walking on quieter streets rather than main roads, and taking public transport for longer journeys. …
