Organ donation: the clock is ticking for public awareness

The BMJ reports that England will move to an “opt-out” system of consent for organ donation from May 2020.1 This follows a Department of Health and Social Care consultation that received 17 000 responses, and the proposals plan to focus on decision making and public awareness.2
