Over 600 practices in England have no female GPs, investigation finds

Over a million women in England do not have access to a regular female GP, an investigation by the Times newspaper has revealed.
Despite there being slightly more female than male GPs working in England (25 263 compared with 19 675 in September 20191), the Times found that in some areas as many as three in four GPs are male.2
