In the discussion section of this article by Goupil and colleagues (BMJ 2019;367:l6015, doi:10.1136/bmj.l6015, published 6 November 2019) the third sentence of the second paragraph should have stated that general practitioners in the no gift group prescribed significantly more [not fewer] angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors than general practitioners in the €1000 or more gift group.
