EU financial watchdog criticises lack of progress in tackling antimicrobial resistance

The European Union’s strategy to tackle antimicrobial resistance (AMR) has failed to deliver significant results, according to a new report by the European Court of Auditors.
In a report,1 published on 15 November, the auditors conclude that despite EU assistance to national authorities, there was “little evidence to date that the health burden of AMR has been reduced in the European Union.” …
