“Touchy-feely” psychiatrist is suspended for six months

A psychiatrist whose “touchy-feely” advances led five female colleagues to complain about him has been suspended from the UK medical register for six months.
James Ugbo’s “unwelcome, flirtatious comments and unnecessary and unwanted physical contact” over a two year period from 2015 to 2017 at Elmleigh psychiatric hospital near Portsmouth had breached his female colleagues’ trust, said Rob Ward, chairing the medical practitioners tribunal.
