1. Dr Richard Smith (in his blog) suggested research into adverse effects.
I have yet to read of any such research being carried out. Of course I do not expect the manufacturers to carry out or to fund, such research.
But surely, tax-funded bodies such as the National Institute of Health Research should commission such research? If they don’t it means that they are helping to sweep under the carpet, anything that is embarrassing to the government’s desire to stick a needle into every old person, every child.

2. Is it not incumbent on all universities teaching nursing to conduct research on the subject?
Likewise, medical schools?
