Babylon: GPs’ concerns are being “resolved,” says Hancock

The health and social care secretary for England has told GPs that he is a patient of Babylon Healthcare, the company behind the controversial GP at Hand app.
Speaking to the Royal College of General Practitioners’ annual conference in Liverpool on 24 October by video stream from Westminster, Matt Hancock discussed GPs’ concerns about the app in regards to the effect it would have on patient lists and the work he was doing to resolve that. Concerns were raised earlier this year that the app would have a financial impact on other general practices by being less likely to take on patients with complex illness.1
