Re: Practical aspects of childhood epilepsy - why no mention of SUDEP?

Thank you for a very informative article re childhood epilepsy.

I am, however, very disappointed that the issue of SUDEP was not addressed apart from the briefest of mentions in the “alarms” section.

SUDEP is an incredibly important issue and often avoided in discussions with patients and families. There is lots of information out there and some award winning innovative tools to help assess and reduce risk. Clinicians, patients and families should be made aware of this.
