Re: Child vaccination rates in England fall across the board, figures show. A question to doctors’ insurers

If a doctor, on the basis of the Dorset Education communications with parents, assumes that fully informed consent has been obtained and proceeds to carry out a vaccination, will the Medical Defence Union, the Medical Protection Society, or the Medical and Dental Defence Union of Scotland (whose membership may include doctors practising in Dorset) defend them? The same question to other insurers.

Most jabs in NHS doctors’ practices in England are carried out by nurses of various grades.

Will the Dorset nurses be indemnified by the Clinical Commissioning Groups?

The Royal College of Nursing might like to offer their thoughts?
