Trainees and locums will get “NHS passports” to cut admin when they work between sites

Trainees and locums who often work at different NHS sites will soon be able to get an “NHS passport” that will enable them to move easily between sites, without the need of two day inductions and other admin including pre-employment checks.
The scheme, which has been piloted at five hospitals in London, will now be available for all hospitals in England to join. It comes as part of a package announced at the NHS Health and Care Innovation Expo held in Manchester this week, which also included …
