GPs earned £94 800 on average last year, but expenses continue to rise

The average earnings of GPs in the UK was £94 800 in 2017-18, an increase of 2.5% from the previous year, latest figures1 from NHS Digital show.
GP partners earned an average of £109 100 before tax—an increase of 3.5% from 2016 to 17, while salaried GPs earned an average of £58 400, a 2.9% rise. Both increases were statistically significant.
