Practice advised patient who shared its CQC rating on Facebook to go elsewhere

A general practice in Warrington, Cheshire, has been criticised for writing to a patient advising her to register elsewhere after she posted about its Care Quality Commission inspection result on Facebook.

The patient had used Facebook to share a news story by the Warrington Guardian reporting that the practice had received a “requires improvement” rating from the CQC after an inspection in May.1
