People with the inherited disease Lynch syndrome should be offered daily aspirin to reduce their risk of colorectal cancer, the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has said in draft guidance.1
People with Lynch syndrome have a 50-80% increased risk of colorectal cancer,2 the second leading cause of cancer deaths in the UK.
