Dawn Elizabeth Hazlehurst was a very experienced, committed, and dedicated general practitioner. She grew up in Manchester, attended Manchester University Medical School, and carried out her training in hospitals throughout north west England. During her early career she was a senior house officer (SHO) for paediatrics, psychiatry, obstetrics and gynaecology, and accident and emergency medicine in various hospitals around north west England.
