Reduced cancer deaths at the cost of ?

Dear Sir,
Interesting meta-analysis where Vitamin D supplementation alone was not associated with all cause mortality in adults compared with placebo or no treatment. Vitamin D supplementation reduced the risk of cancer death by 16%.
If all cause mortality was same but cancer mortality was reduced by 16% in Vit D group, it means there was some other means of increased death by 16% in the Vit D group.
Authors did not mention that.
