The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) recently announced a new NIHR Centre that will merge NIHR INVOLVE and the NIHR Dissemination Centre and will be operational in April 2020.12 Established in 1996, NIHR INVOLVE promotes and supports patient and public involvement in research funded by the NIHR.
