BMA is urged to seek legal advice for doctors on refusing to work because of system failures

Doctors have called on the BMA to obtain legal guidance for doctors on whether they can refuse to work when system failures, such as understaffing or IT breakdowns, mean that patient safety cannot be guaranteed.
