Senior health staff should become exercise champions, says NICE

Healthcare commissioning groups and local authorities should have senior level physical activity champions, say physical activity recommendations from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).1

A new set of quality statements, released on 6 June, said that these senior staff should be responsible for “developing and implementing local strategies, policies and plans.”
