Gender equality: countries are failing to deliver changes by 2030

Denmark has the best gender equality of 129 countries and is closely followed by Finland, Sweden, Norway, and the Netherlands, a new index shows.1

But even those countries have more to do if they are to meet gender equality targets set out in a number of sustainable development goals (SDGs), said Equal Measures 2030, an independent partnership that promotes action on equality by collecting data and evidence.
