Aparna Bhowmick (née Banerjee) attended Calcutta Medical College in the mid-1960s, where she was an outstanding student and became “class assistant” in medicine. She was also extremely popular for her love of performing arts, organising musical, dance, and drama events including “Chintrangada.”
