A forensic medical examiner who failed to examine suspected rape victims when asked to do so by police has seen her 10 month suspension from the medical register extended for a further year after she failed to attend a review hearing.
Rebecca Klein was expected to provide a medical practitioners’ tribunal with evidence that she had remedied her earlier failings, developed insight, and kept her skills up to date.
