Finalists are announced for 11th BMJ Awards

The hunt to find the best medical innovators and leaders of 2018 is nearly over, with this week’s announcement of the 78 teams shortlisted for the 11th BMJ Awards.

This year’s awards attracted 291 entries across 14 categories, which for the first time include care of the older person, diabetes, and digital innovation.

The awards reflect The BMJ’s mission to improve patient outcomes and showcase the very best healthcare by recognising and celebrating the exceptional work done by doctors and their teams around the UK.
