Re: PACE chronic fatigue trial was properly conducted, says UK research watchdog

We believe that scientific research should be performed without the conflict of outside interests and should be subject to discussion .
The conflict involving the insurance industry and the PACE study researchers should have been a major problem for the journal publishing the study. The notion that ME CFS is a psychiatric anomaly has been demolished by physiological manifestation, symptoms and physical findings. Immune system research has shown cellular and methylation cycle abnormalities which disprove the thought that ME CFS is a imaginary problem that may be corrected by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). BMJ has yet to support extensive publication of physiological ME CFS research.
Exercise has produced ill effect to some patients with ME CFS, the PACE study thus can harm patients . This fact must be stated.
