Kentucky’s governor boasts of bringing his children to a “pox party”

Matt Bevin, the Republican governor of Kentucky, has told a radio show that he brought all nine of his children to a “pox party” in order to deliberately infect them with chickenpox.

“We found a neighbour that had it,” Bevin told local radio station Talk 104.1. “And I went and made sure every one of my kids was exposed to it and they got it. And they had it as children, they were miserable for a few days, and they all turned out fine.” …
