A family court judge has criticised a consultant paediatrician in an open judgment after becoming “deeply concerned” about her behaviour as an expert witness in a child care case.1
Judge Clifford Bellamy said that Kathryn Ward, the expert jointly instructed by all the parties in the case of two brothers, had produced a series of excuses for not producing her reports and promises that she then failed to keep.
