More than a third of CCGs and trusts fail to show value for money, says public spending watchdog

Many clinical commissioning groups and hospital trusts are failing to show that the money they spend is good value, the parliamentary public spending watchdog has said.

It has called for greater transparency from all public bodies that provide local services and said that the government must demand more so that citizens can hold their services to account.
