NHS staff get new measures to tackle violence in the workplace

NHS staff in England will be better protected from attacks and abuse under a new NHS violence reduction strategy, the health and social care secretary has announced.
Matt Hancock said that he had made it his “personal mission” to ensure that NHS staff feel safe and secure at work and that the new violence reduction strategy would be a “key strand” of that.
