A study from China, with data on more than half a million adults, reports that higher consumption of eggs was associated with a lower risk of heart disease. People who ate an egg daily had an 18% lower risk of death from cardiovascular causes than people who never ate eggs (Heart doi:10.1136/heartjnl-2017-312651).
